Ethan looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
Lily pointed at the glass.
"There's something wrong with it."
Sophia frowned.
"Lily, this isn't funny."
"I'm not joking," Lily replied.
Several guests whispered to one another, unsure what to believe.
Ethan carefully placed the glass back onto the tray.
"You seem very certain," he said gently. "Can you tell us why?"
Lily nodded.
"I saw someone put something into that drink."
The maid froze.
Sophia shook her head.
"That's impossible."
Lily took a deep breath and unlocked her phone.
"I recorded what I saw."
Curious guests gathered around as she pressed play.
The video clearly showed the maid looking around to make sure no one was watching. She then removed a small bottle from her pocket and poured its contents into the glass before returning it to the tray.
The recording was clear.
Nobody spoke.
Ethan watched the video twice.
His expression changed from confusion to disbelief.
He slowly looked toward the maid.
"Can you explain this?"
The maid lowered her eyes.
She struggled to answer.
The guests quietly stepped back as the atmosphere became tense.
